Flat/Planar woofers - Click HERE for Original Thread

I'd like to get "flat" or "planar" dynamic woofers similar to the ones that are used in this speaker:

Does anybody know where can I find this kind of woofers?

Cabasse used to make highly regarded lat face woofers available to the public. I don't know if they still do.

They still seem to make flat coaxes, sort of. I don't know if these are available to the public or just go into their own loudspeakers. The fact that Cabasse gives the model number of their drivers on the promo literature might indicate these units are available individually.

Here are the flat, or flattish, coaxes. they are located at the bottom of the page:

This link also provides info on Cabasse flat speakers:

They are just a cone woofer with a flat disc glued onto the front to act like a piston. Technics did this years ago with limited success.
