Has Acoustic Dimension's upcoming CD-Pro housing kit peaked anyone's interest? It has myself (a novice DIY'er) considering a more complicated project

Humm the company website looks Korean, I can not read it at all. How do I set WINXP to convert the text??

Here's the link to diy Mania: http://www.diymania.net/
but I didn't find chassis info there. This is one nice chassis, or is it just that the picture was made properly?;)
Coulomb
I can not read that site either, humm I have been through all the settings in XP. Is it just me or do these sites come up in English?

This is the most frustrating url that I have come across. Takes ages to load a page which shows that you have to load another! If you are reading, do something about it as the products are interesting.
rwagter
Fmak,

it's probably on your side of the connection. It's very fast when I load it.

The korean's are indeed very pro diyer's

another taste:

It's a regular philips transport from daisy in a fancy dress.

Be patient, just browse and take your time.

I thought it was best to keep ambient light to a minimum around the laser, am I mistaken?

Could it be that you missed that thread?;)

green or blue light makes the sound better.....
Coulomb
Chenaging the ambient light for better sound makes no sense???

The suggestion that spurious light falling on the media surface can effect a short wavelength of coherent light seems ludicrous.

Any way I will read through the looooong thread you pointed me to, and see if I can make any sense from the nonsense.:)

trust me - you will see the light....:goodbad:

That sure is a beautiful chassis on diymania. I like the way it is all connected together. Look at the back:

and another view with the cover removed:

Is the internal lighting done with cold cathode lighting (CCFL), or with plexiglass and leds?

Use your ears. Differences can be easily heard say in a Krell immersed in Green light with the door open. Secondary effects can be important in hi fi.
