Does any one from SA know where to buy electronic components in Johannesburg .
I need to try and get TDA1541 A , TDA1543 and possibly OPA627.
Also 2SK216 and 2SJ79.
Any shop names and location ( alternatively phone number should also be ok ) ?

I would really suggest you source all this from the net. Faster and cheaper than locally. And you don't feel bad being ripped off :)

The Fets will be difficult. Most SA suppliers only carry stock of components used by their larger customers and are very reluctant to bring in small quantities of low turnover comps.

Mantech (011-493-9307) sells the 2SK170 JFET. Another sometimes useful crowd for JFETS is Jico (011-839-4519).
