Using terminal blocks as Speaker connectors? - Click HERE for Original Thread
Beggar
Hi being on a strictish budget, and needing 8 speaker connections (4 bi-amped speakers) i was thinking of ideas for cheap connectors and thought about mains rated terminal blocks (see picture) I was thinking of soldering one side, and i would hope they have a better quality than those spring loaded cheap terminals, has anyone used these before, or would like to comment on the theoretical quality anyway?

Thanks Beggar.

definately better than spring loaded terminals
I use them in my control panels all the time

Same here, I use them for PSU to amp and for amp out to speakers. No obvious problems.

Klipsh, in there classic speakers, use the screw down terminal strip versions of what you have pictures.
