Hi,
I found this info in an old pdf data sheet.
STK0040 is described as Single Channel Complementary Darlington Power pack.
Specs are: Supply volts max +-48V
Collector Current max 5A
Supply volts at rated output into 8ohms +-33V
Output power at 8ohms 33W min
Don't have any application circuits - equivalent internal circuit is shown below.

As elib's post shows, not easy chip to use as it is only basically the output stage - hardly much point in having a large chip for this purpose....
