They are diodes fashioned into a bridged rectifier.
here's the diagram ("o" represents points where I soldered the leads).

I have the Hammond 369GX and the bridged rectider is for the heater secondary which outputs 6.3VAC 2.5A. Well my mains right now is at 249.xxVAC. So heater secondary is at 7.xxVAC.
Well when I measure the VDC on the +/- leads of the bridged rectifier, it gives me 20.xx VDC. Is there something wrong?
The diodes I'm using are ultrafast Onsemi rated at 1000V 4amps.

Well I didn't really see that schematic. I just arrange the diodes in such a way that I can place them on a tag strip.
Is there something wrong with the way I arrange them? I've checked alot of times and I'm prettys sure they still follow a brdige rectifier.
Also, i must add that there is nothing else on the circuit aside from the bridge rectifier.

Strange problem you have, I can't see why you should get 20V.
what do you use for measuring, scope or meter?
Have you grounded - lead of the rectifier? |
