CCS for Joe's tube GC - Click HERE for Original Thread

I'm thinking about building Joe Rasmussen's tube gainclone project, but I've been wondering about the possibility of adding a constant current source for the cathode follower.

I know this is probably fairly simple, but my design experience is minimal, so I'm calling on the experts to help. To keep the cost and complexity to a minimum, I'm thinking about a FET-based ccs. Also, I have a bunch of 1N936 diodes, which are apparently temperature compensated 9.0V zeners. Would these be appropriate for a ccs?

If anyone is interested, I brought this question up in the tubes forum, here.
