Choose speaker based on amp? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hey all. Im looking to make a SQ audio setup in my car and had a question. I'm planning on getting a Planet Audio TT5600 amp (50x4 + 200x1 RMS) and im having trouble deciding which 6.5" component setup to get for the front doors. It'll either be Focal 165 A (nominal 60W, max 120) or 165 V2 (nominal 75W, max 150).

I'm leaning towards the 165 A since it more closely matches the RMS value from the amp. Can anyone with more audio experience than myself chime in on the importance of matching speakers to the amp? Thanks!

the powerhandling won't really matter, if you buy the ones with a higher powerhandling they will be good later down the track if you get a more powerful amp. I would look at things such as the sensitivity and maybe price.
