| That's good for small LCD's (less than 5") only. I think good focal length fo any LCD is the screen size (so for 15" monitor panel 15" FL is ok). Remember that you also need a fresnel with the same focal length (or just a little bit more) as the projection lens have to get bright picture. You can also use two fresnels to shorten the FL. In your case with the slide projector lens you could use dual side (OHP) 10" FL fresnel between the light source and the LCD and single 10" between the LCD and the projection lens. |
