Fresh meat on the forums again ;)

Name's Sebastian, from Berlin/Germany.
Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself a little...

okay: mid twenty, student of computer science, audio addict, can't differ copper from silver by listening, seeing the world from an engineering point of view - high demand for quality on a low budget ;)

I'm currently planning and buildung a digital multichannel audio system (digital and analog input selection, A/D, DSP, D/A, amps, speakers), where I want to make everything with my own hands :)
I can easily say that in my introductory post, as it will take years to complete (if ever) :bawling:

Glad to see a source on the web with so many engaged guys (and as many girls, I hope  )

CU: Sebastian.

We should be saying you on most of the boards, then. You are a multi-faceted DIYer! ;)

A good observation...

Alas, wishful thinking.

We can only wish... it is a very testosterone dominated subject...

Hi,

By the way, I dont't get the meaning of "we should be saying you"...

If you say that in German, it means to offer someone a more personal relationship than before (in contrast to the polite form of "you").

Of course I was just joking (and scratching my head about it). I doubt to find more than a couple percent of female participants in any technical forum... Unfortunately! Because they usually offer me the bit that I always miss (you can't buy that this way... that's ugly this way... do something useful...). ;)

Bye,
Sebastian.

PS: Now that I look at it again: should it have been "seeing you"?

LOL, you are observant.

The post was written pretty late at night over here, and yes, it was meant to be written "We should be seeing you...".

By the time I caught it, the post had past the time allowed for editing. I could have sent the Moderators an Email to correct it, but I figured they have enough stuff as it is, without bothering with trivial miswritten words.

'What the heck", I thought, 'who's gonna notice?'.

Guess I found out. :) :)
