Just want to know how many people are satisfied with there projection panels? Please list what equipment you use also.
Sharp Qa-1800 Projection Panel ($225.00 on ebay)
3M Three Thiry Three Projector ($1.50 at a local auction)
8' x 8' Screen (Bought for $2.50 at a local auction)
Very Very Pleased with results.
Mounted projector upside down in my floor jouices in the basement so the projector is out of the way completely. Currently have a 96" diagonal, it will be a little bit bigger once I am completely done setting up.
I think the main reason people dont like there projection panels is because of lack of detail in dark scenes. I found out that if you watch movies on your computer, most of the DVD Player Software has contrast and brightness controls. I have messed with the brightness and contrast on my panel and computer and I now have it set up perfectly. I can watch movies as clear as in the theater/regular tv.
If you are not satisfied with your results, please list why you dont like it.
Also, feel free to post any pictures of your setup/results.

| I know that local schools have auctions all the time for surplus items such as OHPs, LCD panels, etc.....but how the **** do I find out where these are?? The dude at MCC in AZ that I talked to didn't have any info for me...... |

| Every Sunday I check the newspaper. Also, I am subscribed to a mailing list so every once in a while I am sent a flyer in the mail. Just check the newspaper and look for one that sounds like you would like and check it out. I have found a lot of great deals at these. |
