Considering aleph boards i didnt stated it to cleraly yesterday
i need to choose wich layout will be most universal for this buy - i expect that not everyone wants aleph 5 like me
i have Mark's Layout
and it is really well done but for this bulk buy - BrianGT's layout will be proably better
cos it is more universal - but i only have a driver board and dont have any fet boards in pdf or gerber - only in gif
so if you know where i can find them
that would be great help :)
so to clarify things:

I have costed out boards for power mosfet's. I have the dsign now in PDF and HPGL format and ultimately it should be also available as gerber files. |

it slowly becomes clear that for bls /aleph
we will use one sided / without metalized holes / with solder mask / Cu 170um
about aleph: p is it really sonically superior than bls?
did i mention that i want to make 2psu boards for every bls :) |

If we make 10-30 one side pcb (aleph +2 psu, bls + 2psu - ca. 10dm2) it should cost ca. 2-2,5$ / 1dm2. Holes and cuts are included.
Its possible to make it golded.

I have found two companys. The prices are for one pcb included aleph and bls with 2 psu. Prices do not include 22% VAT.

It's polish thread :)
I'll ask tommorow for more cooper, but he said it can be only made with an additional chemical process. I guess it will cost more. Standard thickness amounts to 80 um.
Why 170 um? Kristjan use only 50 um. |

agreed that we can use his layout,
He also told me that he have about 150 output boards left for sale. price is $3.00 ea plus shipping. so i think maybe we shall buy them from dale? |

I am a little confused.. 200x500 mm is a really HUGE board!

There are 5 on it (aleph 2ch, bls + 2 x psu).
It's cheaper to do a huge board and than cut it. |

You might want to change the power supply board.
The space there reserved for the heatsinks is way too small.
I put the biggest sink ****ible on the boardand still the FET's reach boiling temperatures......:cannotbe:

Yes we could buy some output boards from Harvadian together.
What about the other boards........ produce them in Poland?
I would prefer boards with metalization because they are better of quality especially when it comes to repair.

I have 4 Aleph-X boards but I'd also like to try BLS and since I have very few spare time getting good pcbs for cheap (here I also get 2 "regular" aleph boards) is highly recommended.

In my Aleph I didn't use any output board, only a universal board.
I bet some people would go P2P, so in my opinions output boards are less necessary than the others;) ; but if they are cheap...

First Big sorry for being little inactive
last days - i really had a big bunch of work to do :(
bu there is a good news i called those two companies and send them semi final layout for quotation
i decided to split it into 2 parts one for bls and one for aleph so from now they are avialable separately!
boards will have 170u copper , silk screen , soldermask and will be one sided made from 2,4 mm fr-4 laminate
i decided to make the outputboards 4 cm as it will improve theraml managment :)
So from now please mail me wich boards (aleph or bls) you want and how many
i hope to post the prices tommorow |

The boards will be avialable completly separately they will have soldermask and description
and here are the prices
they are in euro
1. bls psu - 2,5 E / 1 board /105u cu
2. bls mainboard - 3,5 E / 1 board / 105u cu
3. Aleph driver - 4 E / 1 board / 170u cu
4.Aleph output board 2e / 1 board / 170u cu
so full stereo preamp (1psu and 1 main board) will cost 6Euro
and full stereo aleph (2 drivers and 4 outputs) will cost 16E
Please note that people who mailed mae and signed up for the boards were included in the quotqtion

Progress report
First of all i want to say that :
- the files are ready to be send to the fab
and i want to send them there in beggining of the next week
- shipping in europe costs 15euro for 0-1kg package :( they dont even care to make smaller price for 0,5kg
- please check http://www.wapienik.pl/pass/
and see if the board count is really the count you ordered (if it is not mail me!)
and if yes mail me too and then i will mail you my account details
-the only way for a payment is to make a bank transfer (western union maybebut i need to ask my bank) sorry folks paypal does not work in poland
-the intrest was so big that my funds dont permit to pay for the boards for you- so i am asking you to make a transfer before i contact the company and - i dont want to stop anyone from getting boards :) |

If the number of boards isn't excessive you can send them in a bubbled envelope, that is treated as a letter and should be cheaper.
I received my Aleph-X boards from the US in this way and the cost was very reasonable (about 5 euro).
