So, do you actually have one (or even a pair) of these valves? And what do you intend to do with them?

Reading between the lines and being my good ole' blunt self...

You can actually make your own ECLL800s (or ELL800) as many a vendor has done for the passed 20 years...using a double pico7 socket, a pair of EL95s and one half of an ECC83...well you need to be a bit more inventive than that but that's what it amounts to.

Cheers,;)

Karma,

I hope you are going to save that ECC85 for an FM tuner, and not waste it on AF ;)

How did you get 2 ECLL800's? I've only seen 1 once in my life, and that was over 25 years ago!

Same here...they're extremely sought after by collectors of some older U.S. sixties amps.

Lorenz and TFK were the main manufacturers...hell, nowadays you can even find the resocketed ones anymore.

Cheers,;)

You betcha...either Scott or Fisher used those a lot....Fisher most likely can't quite remember.

Selling them would get you at the very least a half decent amp.

Lucky you,;)

Dunno, I'd start at 80$ a piece but I wouldn't be surprised if they'd catch 100$ in mint condition.

Cheers,;)
