Hi,
I was wondering if CRT moniters have controller boards inside them like lcd screens do...... Also, if they do, can they be used with the laptop LCDs?

I'm sorry to say - no.
CRT's do not have discrete pixels as LCD's do. Instead of storing and addressing, a CRT scans a raster in real time.
