DIR1703 and AD1853 problem - Click HERE for Original Thread
Marek
Hi!

I am building DAC using DIR1703 and AD1852 an I have a few problems:

1.DIR1703 is +3.3V and AD1852 is +5V.Is there any chance that they will work together without logic level converter??If not what coverter should be used?

2.I read on this forum that the DIR1703 supplies have to match within 0.1V,so it is recomended to use the same supply for analog and digital section.
Should I tie (Vdd and Vcc) and (DGND and AGND) or use some inductor between theme?
Is it possible that using the same supply may result in performance degradation of PLL and as a result of this, jitter performance, too?

3.What kind of capacitors should I use in filter section of DIR1703?

4.And how about AD1853 supplies and grounds (i want to use separaye supplies but I heard that grounds should be tied)

Thanks for Your answers.
Mark.
