In my opinion these tubes in this pic should be light bulbds to subtitute the power resistors acting as current sources in the Zen amp..

I read in one of the audio rags that light bulbs made in Yugoslavia (pre 1989) sounded best. If anyone here needs a source I have one case of NOS that I have taken the trouble to match up and stress test. Sold in sets of four with a certificate showing individual luminosity as well as a picture of me shaking each bulb.
