Can a speaker cable like canare 4s11 be used as a wire for internal wiring of a DIY amplifier ? I see that on canare website it states that it can be used for DC power line.

I need your opinion on this .

Thankz.

Any comments ?

I can't see why it couldn't be used. Any cable could be used if the dimension's right. Some people believe in the magic of cables and some don't.

So long as you use a good quality cable you should be fine.

Some cheap cable can be quite resistive.

I did a project for a surveliance system using cameras on quite long runs of wire. I did some research into different cables and was surprised at how good some cable is and how bad others are for voltage drop.

The simple answer is 'yes, it should be fine'.

So long as it can carry the maximum current in the amp.

yes it will work well. remember to keep yput P/S wires short and away from input/vas stages. no matter how big, they will generate the same magnetic fields.
