Creek 4040 s2 transistors or schematic - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hello is there anyone who have a schematic for the Creek 4040s2 or who know which transistors are used in the poweramp?
I have this amp here for repair but there are diffrent transistors in the poweramp used tip2955/tip3055 and on the other chanel bd249/bd250.
I think both types of transistors are wrong for this amp or?
I have seen a schematic of the 4040 s1 this amp use darlington transistors, anyone know if there are a diffrent between the poweramps of 4040 s1 and the 4040 s2?
Thanks
jaycee
I would be seriously surprised if Creek used either type of transistor for the outputs. Sounds like some idiot has made a bodge repair in the past.

I may have a diagram for 4040 s2 - will have a look in the evening. There were a couple of revisions as well, and if you have the S/N of your amplifier it would be handy. Contact me through my web site and I'll mail you what I could find.

Cheers

Found the schematics for 4040s2. Apparently original output devices are TIP3055/TIP2955.
