Hi all,
My old Cambridge SoundWorks 4.1 speaker setup, aka Creative FPS2000, has been retired after many years of faithful service. A problem in the amp circuitry is making the volume alternate between soft and loud at unpredictable intervals, but the speakers themselves are still good.
Given that the speakers are nothing special (4x 2.5" midrange, 1x 5.25" woofer) I was wondering if anyone knows of any interesting projects that could make use of them, e.g. these Munny Speakers.
If I can't come up with any cool project ideas I guess I'll be tossing the whole lot into the trash... |

problem in the amp circuitry: try to change the volume pot, and check signal cable.
another cool idea: get away the amp, and buy another little amplifier for your speakers :D
I suggest not to dismantle the loudspeakers... :smash: |
