Excellent idea !!!

I have a large box of "bench sweepings".

Anyone interested in a similar idea in the UK ??

I'd be up for it, and have some interesting ICs (with data), small speakers, transformers etc. to contribute.

Mods.
Can you split off the UK posts to a new thread?

"UK Free SwapBox"

and then remove this post.

Thanks

I will be including several "grab bags" of regulators, small transistors and other conponents, leds, Various capacitors , some small transformers.

I don't know what the postage rates will be like but for L20 you get up to 10kg special delivery. I guess those with access to courier companies can get a parcel for around L10

At the moment, there does not seem to be sufficient interest to make it worth while.

Anyone else interested ?

I'm in. Got quite a lot of duplicate items in my spares boxes. Plus some salvaged items that might suit someone with an imagination.

Around here, we deal with this sort of thing, by simply sending each other an email, or, god have mercy, call up each other :D
Saves the postage of a lot of useless stuff, and sorts everybody out in a timely fashion.....

Just a suggestion.
