Which sound card? - Click HERE for Original Thread

I am looking for advice on the best way to get a digital signal out of what is shaping up to be my music server and into my DAC.

The DAC is a Diyeden Great March II and only has Toslink and RCA (SPDIF) inputs. I understand the RCA is superior from a bandwith point of view so I am planning to move in that direction.

I currently have an Airtunes connection, Airport Express via Toslink to the DAC and then down the line into the analog end of the systems.

I am planning to move away from Airtunes and wireless and am looking for a sound card that has RCA out and as much useful feature as practicle. Any suggestions?

BTW--I am planning to build a USB DAC in the near future but want to have this option as well.

Thanks.
Blitz

ESI Julia is a good choice.
