Hi,
Has anyone ever repaired MIT interconnects? I have a pair of recent Shotguns. There are four wires in each cable. - One white (signal)
- One red (also signal, but less gauge)
- One Black (earth)
- One blue (also earth but only at the receiving end, less gauge)
I think the blue one is not connected at the sending end. Am I correct? Since this is strange I think. But then these are MITīs.... |

Very strange.:xeye:
Could a twisted pair only connected at one end possibly have any effect on the signal carried by the other two conductors? They aren't even twisted around the other pair; they just run down the center of the cable. |

Thanks for the replies!
But mhh, indeed very strange  . But my impression seems to be correct. I thought I had accidently cut though the wire while desoldering. But apparently this is how it should be. |
