Hi guys, I'm searching a amp to drive two 4Ohm 2W speakers.
It should be portable and i want to use AA-Batteries to power it.
The Amp should run with 6-9V!

can someone recommend a kit or has such a amp to sell?

(i also have the a Zhaolu 2.5 headphone amp here (the small cheap one), can i use this with some modifications?)

There are bunch of small amp kits sold, like the one above.
The output at 9V will be close to 2W, I guess.

Then buy your components locally, find the TDA2005 datasheet and build on veroboard or p2p.

How about this?

2W class-d amp boards

Hi,
If you can make your own amplifier, you can use LM380N-18 for ~1 W power, LM380N-14 for ~2 W power. Construction is very easy as you require only a coupling capacitor and a decoupling capacitor on the Vcc pin.

I have been playing with these little thingies, Eua5202

made by Eutech. the sound is good, efficincy is really high and output at 4 ohms is 2 watt. they work on 3.7 volts, so one polymer cell will do the job.
