DAC8820 - any reason why this dac can't be used for audio ? - Click HERE for Original Thread

I came across this parallel input dac from TI - DAC8820 .
Assuming you can provide parallel input and the required control signals (WR, LDAC) to the dac, and reconstruction lpf i.e. all implementation level details aside, do you see any reason why this dac wouldn't be suitable for audio ?
The specs seems pretty impressive for a 16bit r2r ladder dac. Although I am not so sure about what to make of the Bipolar Zero offset.

Looking forward to your comments on this dac.
Thanks!

There's even some more simple industrial DAC - DAC8580. This one has a serial Interface that accepts right-justified mode. I just had a quick look into the datasheet though...

actually I want a parallel dac. its from a different concept I want to try.
for now I am just interested in finding out if the specs suit this converter for audio signals or not.
