Hi space2000,
That circuit has been on KK's site for a long time. To my knowledge no one (including KK) has ever built it. In general there are a number of things in his schematics that are questionable (IMO).
I'm not trying to discourage you. I'm just advising caution.
You would be better advised to build one of the many designs on this site that have been thoroughly debugged.

Looking at it, I have no reason to think that the circuit wouldn't
work. Even if it there is a problem, it would presumably be
fixable.
Anybody know of a documented problem? |

| What turns the irf9610's on? There doesn't appear to be a dc voltage source applied to the gate. |
