Regulated PSU for LM1875 and other GC's

So you only have those big transformers you bought for building an LM3886 or LM3875 amp, but wish there was some way you could test the LM1875 which seems to be the current fad.

Well here you go, a circuit published by Pedja Rogic.....
Inside each regulator you will find one zener... this should have the same voltage as one of the AC secondaries (24-27V)... The output will be about 3 diode drops lower... (+-2V)... It is more than enough for some serious output levels...

Remember to heatsink the power transistor on each board...
You could also use bigger outputs by useing offboard transistors connected with short cables

hm its good but i can't use

btw i only have 1 transformer with CT and lm338 is expensive...
