Good Morning Folks,
I have a limited background in circuits and would like to learn more. I have tackled the Linsley-Hood book (Art of linear electronics), so my next adventure is to learn SPICE.
What are the recommendations for a
1. free or student version of SPICE?
2. is the best way to learn, simply to plow through it?
BTW: I enjoyed the JLH book
Thanks for your thoughts and advice |

Probably the best SPICE program available for any price is LTSPICE from Linear Technology. It's free and very good. There is a great user community to support the tool.

Try microcap from www.spectrum-soft.com They have a
student edition.
Carpenter in this forum got started with it, and he seems quite
happy. |
