Small tube sub - Click HERE for Original Thread

Is it possible (or worth) making a small sub using a Peerless 7" woofer and a heavy wall poly pipe with deadening.
I ask this because we have a 2007 Astra with mid and treble response but no bass and no room. Im not prepared to sacrifice half the boot for a massive sub.
Could a small sub amp and a short, say 20" x 8" tube be made to supplement the bass?
I should say that Im not making speakers as a pastime but to meet specific needs.

It will depend on the driver's specs and what your performance goals are, but as a general rule you'll want to use a car audio driver for a vehicle app since they are designed for both the relatively harsh environment and the typically tiny sizes required.
