Searching for info how to wind TVC is almost as hard as searching for Holly Grail :)
Is there anybody who has any info how to wind transformer for this passive preamp?

Use litz wire of 20 or more braid. Maybe 2 or 4 or more litz wires parallel. Determine the minimum number of turns for the low frequency cutoff for the load resistance. This will be the initial winding. Then add another winding 2 dB more turns (including the initial), and another with another 2 dB (including all the previous number of turns, calculate the dB to integer numbers). Then connect the ends of the individual elementary wires in series, like 50 turn (0 dB), 60 turns (2 dB), 72 turns (4 dB), 2 x 50 turns in series (two individual elementary wires of the same litz wire, 6 dB), 2 x 60 turns in series (8 dB), 2 x 72 turns in series (10 dB), 4 x 50 turns (12 dB), 4 x 60 turns (14 dB), etc. It needs a bit of calculation and design. The numbers here are just examples demonstrating the principle. You need a good permalloy or similar core. I also plan to make one. Bernhard wrote about his TVC on a thread somewhere in this forum.
