I prefer +/-18v with the OPS627.
arthur
if i can only have +- 9v ,what op amps are more suitable?
Thanks in advance.

I can't really comment as I have never used those voltages. I have used the OPA134 down to +/-12v so that may be worth a try!

Hi,

LME49710 is specified from ±2.5V supply and it is a nice low-distortion OP-AMP. People tends to prefer higher voltage for more dynamic range above the noise floor (which is fixed by the temperature, etc).

Good luck with your project!

You may find this list useful, though note the application is headphone amps.

Tangentsoft (see previous post) also sells something you can use for a PS.

Search the whole site. Lots of good info and the 627 gives great results if you design the circuit correctly with optimum voltage. Do your research!
