Choke Rating - Click HERE for Original Thread

I am building a power supply for my phono stage. The PS has to deliver 200mA to the phono stage. The circuit I am using calls for a choke in both the +- rails. My question is, does each choke have to be rated at 100mA or at 200mA?

Thanks, that's what I thought.

Well this is another choke question. I need a 15mh or larger 2A
choke for a choke input power supply. I have a Signal ch-2 choke
rated at 70mh and 2A would it be safe to use it here? At first
I was hesitent but have been runing it for almost an hour and it's
not even baby bottle warm.

I'd say it's probably fine. :D
