I acquired a KDS k917s LCD monitor for free. The controller board can be swung out of the way, of course by extending the ribbon cable. Is an LCD of this size usable in a projector? The resolution is great, at 1280x1024.
For the second picture, I was using a desk fluorescent lamp as a backlight.
