Hi,
I have simple question about the sound between Aleph J and the mini version besides the power.
Since having no ability to build them by myself, Tim will kindly build one Aleph J for me first. My plan is using three Aleph Js to power my Altec VOTT A8 + JBL 075 via active crossover. After reading some threads here for two days, I am afraid that three Aleph Js may run too hot in my apartment. Thus, one Aleph J for the woofer, two mini for midrange and tweeter may be a better choice. Do you think mini is powerful enough for 075 and the midrange horn.
Any suggestion and thought will be very appreciated.
Thanks! |

make one full J - 2x24V Iq 2A
and two smaller ones - 2x15V Iq 1A
use two pairs of output mosfets for mini's ....... or just one ..... your choice |

The 075 is quite efficient .If the mid unit matches it or comes close use one mini or better ; use a-j for mid and bass and mini for treble. |

Thanks to Zen Mod and sandstorm33! That's really helpful.
Except the power, is there any difference between Mini and J in term of sound? |
