Attached are pics of my 'discrete feets' project for my Maggie MMGs. Most Maggie owners go for the supports that raise the speakers higher. Most use a back strut for additional support.
I tried to make mine as discrete as possible. My main goal was to get them vertical and be able to move them around easily. I pull them 3 - 4 feet away from the wall when I'm doing serious listening. I found no need to raise them higher since the sound panels on MMGs are already about 8" off the floor.
This was a very simple project that only required (2) 18" pieces of 1-3/4" X 1/2" red oak and 4 shelf braces and some 1/4" X 1" bolts from Home Depot. After some experimentation I cut each of the red oak feet down to 13-1/2" long. They started off being 18" long but that was overkill.
The MMG 'discrete feets' keep my MMGs vertical and my wife happy! |

Looks good Jim! Out of curiosity what are you driving them with?

I use a PS Audio C-100 Integrated ICE amp., 200w/ch into 4ohms, with a PS Audio DLIII DAC. My 2-channel setup is pure PC Audio. My 42" LCD TV serves as a computer monitor as well. |

If you are thinking of a trademark, you may want to look up the definitions of discrete vs. discreet - you might be surprised. |
