Hi,
I am a newcomer in the DIY world but I am a audiophile by heart.. atleast by wish.. I even had audiophile dreams of owning a hi end HiFi HT for myself.
Anyways.. my past experiences (7 years ago) are limited to making DIY speakers and now I wanted to make my own Power Amp for my home theater ( I dont have any yet )
I have been looking around in forums about Hypex, Coldamp and T-Amps and I am confused.
So I am looking for suggestions and guidance on how I can proceed further, or rather should I embark on this DIY journey.

Class d amplifiers are a mix of varios legs of electronics.Its very good to develop your skills in smps,mosfets, drivers,lc filters,pwm,rfi,emi,bootstrap,etc...
Maybe you can try diy first the iraudamp 1 from ir website and then tripath or Hypex ,ucd... |
