Can I make a 215GX stable at 2.5 ohms - Click HERE for Original Thread

I have two speakers that are rated at 5 ohms each. I can either wire them at 10 or 2.5 ohms.

I was thinking of running them at 2.5 if I can do some mods to the amp to make it staple at 2.5 ohms.

Also, what should I do to refurb the amp.

I will let you know if I have any other questions.

Thanks. I had search but guess I missed this one.

After reviewing that thread it seems the whole thing is just too border line. The amp would constantly be on the verge of a melt down.

It seems that modifying the 2150GX to a HCCA250 is a better way to go if possible.

I will start a new thread for that question.
