Below is a picture of my main guitar (when I'm not acoustic)
With a set of hotrails, (rails series or parallel) in series with the two single coils (humbucking configuration, series or parallel), I use the pickup configurations to set tone! With the space, my fingers aren't striking the "middle" pickup when I fingerstyle (I RARELY use a pick).
