Hi,
12AU7 doesn't overdrive all that nice, may be one reason they are scarce.
Any particular reason for using the 'AU7? Got a boxfull?

| no just the it can be used at low voltage around 15v or 10 volts |

Well, I have never tried a 12AU7 in "starved plate" mode, so I'm intrigued as to results :)
