I have an amp with a power supply that died and I'm planning on replacing the z44's with z46's. The ps setup uses a single ended buffer per three fets with a 220 pull-down resistor; gate resistors are 68 each. Is this doable w/ or w/o changes?

You shouldn't have any problem using the Z46s with that drive circuit.
