Hi everyone,

I have an old altantic technology system 100. Intergrated amp with woofer and pair of satellite speakers.

They have a row of 6 jrc072D opamps. are there any upgrades to these opamps?

What do you mean with "upgrades"?
May be I could try to find some equivalent part.

The system stopped suddenly, so i took it out. Luckily the first thing i noticed was that the fuse Blew!

well it was out, I was thinking of doing other modifications to it. Will replace the pot which is scratchy and to replace all the electrolytic capacitors. Was wondering if there are "better" opamps that can be used.

Clearer and smoother mids come to mind.

Hi Zenesh
TLO72'S may be old but they perform well.If you are after replacing 6 of these bear in mind that they only draw around 2.8ma per package. My favourite at the moment is OPA2604 which although direct replacement draw around 12ma per package.Check the supply to see it will cope first.
