Subwoofer with Tangband W8-740 - Click HERE for Original Thread
norrback
Hi

Have anyone built a successful subwoofer with the cheap tangband w8-740 woofer?

I saw a thread in a swedish forum where user secanbj is building a sub with this speaker but it's many years ago, now i can't find it.

If I remembered right there was no damping inside the box, but I'm not sure. So if you secanbj see this post can u contact me, i have no rights to send mail cause I'm new on this forum.

There are *many* that have been built on this forum. Did you search at all? Note that with our tricky dicky search engine you should be searching on the string W8?740C

thanks, thats the one I was talking about.

There is no damping material in the box, should it be without or have they just forgot to mention that.

I've built the Tuba 18 with a different driver but the plans have the specs for using the TB driver if you want to. My tuba sub works great.

yes, I had once the tabeltuba with a peerless10" sounds great, but it was to big for me.

I've finnished my LennartLabs box with a tb w8-740 now an it sounds great.
