Hello friends,
Pls let me know the theory ,eqations and calculations of ferrite transformer design for the power supplies.Im work out with TL494 PWM controller.Mainly i want to change the out put current & voltage. If have some equations thats easy for me.
Thanks

lol…………..hmmmm, lets see ferrite core….. hmm, too many type and too many magnetic parameter, do u know what core u using, if u don’t know then ur middle of no where, if u know then bingo, b4 we go any farther , put some more details on ur project, like voltage and other stuff , as much as u can, ………………..good luck

by the way month ago i start my first project with out any knowledge ( i mean 0.0 % ) of how smps stuff works , now i m testing my 600 watt proto, …. and another 1000 watt is on the way………………lol

please see the databooks at manufacturer's such as mag-inc.com (magnetics) and others. These will mostly have nomographs* and design approximations suitable for your purpose.

A book is a good place to start. I like Abraham Pressman's Switching Power Supply Design second edition. There is a great deal of information in it, as well as a chapter dedicated to magnetics design.

I second this. Further, nearly every IEEE paper on power electronics has this as a reference. Excellect read.
