There are probably many designs out there, for what i've seen i'd say you would be looking at half - bridge with bjt power devices. If u have a good understanding of how the supply works i'm sure you wont have too many technical difficulties as it doesnt require much re-engineering. I've had quite an amount of fun taking the transformers apart lol, i've been there. Just dont shatter the core getting it out of the bobbin lol. Btw these cores are good for home brew supplies too, whenever a pc supply breaks i salvage it.
