Wiring in an L-pad - Click HERE for Original Thread
oquela
I'm a bit confused. I'm making a 2 way, 12db crossover (Linkwitz-Riley) with a crossover point @ 2500 hertz (2.5k) I know that I must reverse the tweeter leads on this particular crossover to correct for phase.

My question is this: how (and where) do I wire in the L-pad I'm using to attenuate the horn? Is it before the High Pass filter, (where the wires are still out of phase) or after I've reversed the wires?

After the XO and before the tweeter.

Dave,
thanks for the quick response and attachment....so just to clarify, according to the drawing, the #1 lead on the L-Pad is what USED to be a tweeter negative, but is NOW the positive?
