Help with control a Stepper motor with an IR-control. - Click HERE for Original Thread

I’m trying to find a fast way to build a circuit there I can control a Stepper motor with an IR-control.
I have a nice circuit but then I need a equivalent part for SAA1027-PHI, the driver part.

Someone who can help me?

I'm not aware of a source for SAA1027, but there are lots of other ICs that perform an equivalent task. They won't be pin compatible, but it should not be hard to find a functional equivalent.

For example the MC3479 is pretty much a drop in replacement from a glance at the datasheets. It's not pin compatible, but it has all of the same functionality. It's a bit pricey, but easily available from DigiKey.

I've seen some kits that read from IR and give you logic outputs. With a small amount of glue you should be able to use this to drive a more 'traditional' stepper driver (with onboard monostable) easily. No links offhand though.
