I located a 3m 9850 for a reasonable price and plan to use the parts to build a pj. It has a 345mm triplet. From what I've read is it true you need the fresnel fl to exceed the fl of the triplet?? In other words to I need a fresnel with a fl greater than 345mm or would the 317mm work okay? Thanks.
