multi-volti
I inherited a North Atlantic 214C phase-angle voltmeter -I thought how cool, much easier than using a scope...

nope, it's the 400 Hz only version :bawling: (fixed filter module). I may run out of 400 Hz measurements in my lifetime.

So, if I could find a schematic or hear from someone who has already invented this wheel, changing the filter to a variable one seems like a good idea.

Any thoughts? (Like use the case, cannibalize the rest?) :smash:

Take it to a small avionics workshop and see if they want to swap it for some nice teflon insulated cable.

Haha, that's where it came from...they didn't want it anymore :bawling:

I've got my third differential voltmeter that doesn't work..how cool to have mechanical readout to a microvolt! But I guess it would have to be working & compared to a real reference.

Thanks, though.

Hi Murray,

That unit could be worth a few bucks if it's in good working order.

See - http://www.used-line.com/c5428801s8...lantic_214C.htm

Once upon a time I was a tech in a Precision Calibration Lab (PMEL) and worked on those units. Brings back some memories!!
