Wiring cabinet.. right? - Click HERE for Original Thread

That is basically how I wired it. The thing at the bottom is the backplate. First, I had + to - going from top left to bottom left and top right to bottom right, then I changed to + to + and - to -, found no sound difference.

I am going to be using a Marshall head when it comes in, which can handle 4,8, and 16 i believe. I am using a Rivera r-100 2x12 combo amp with it right now.

What I am doing is going from Speaker 2 on the amp to the Mono In on the cabinet, which says 4 ohms. It also has a Left/Right stereo, which is 8ohms it says. Then it has an out jack under 4ohms mono.

The backplate itself has 4 wires coming from it (i got the cab from a friend, its an old crate cab). I just connected them to the bottom 2 speakers. I noticed when I plug the cord into one of the jacks, only the left 2 speakers work.

Hi Sanders, I am finding your explanation a wee confusing. Can you post some pics or did I answer the question here?
