hii all

i have a big transformer (9.5Kg) - 12V 1000VA and i need a high current Diodes bridge (Rectifier)...

where can i find a Rectifier of high current.... (84A)...

12 V only but many many Amperes makes me think about car
diodes! If your local electronics dealer doesn't have anything
suitable, try someone selling spare parts for cars instead.

See www.semikron.com for huge rectifiers. I think you can find this kind of diodes in elevators surplus places.

I believe most wellknown manufacturers have something that would suit. However I would probably think about if the current should be drawn to one device or several. If several I would use a bridge for each device and get away with lower spec devices.
