Aleph X v1.0 PCBs, Sonic Impact T-amp (again) - Click HERE for Original Thread
c10h12n2
The friend I sold this stuff to decided he didn't have enough time for personal projects either (a word: the PCBs are a serious, serious undertaking), so it's all available again.

PCBs are new and untouched: the T-amp has seen some use but is fine, and comes with an non-SI AC adapter.

$30 for the PCBs and $25 for the T-amp or best offer, plus shipping (your choice).

It's really not worth sending the T-amp outside of the US as shipping would be at least USD$15 or so (maybe less to Canada). The AC adapter is pretty heavy-duty as they go, but is nothing special.

Thanks for looking.

I forgot to say: there are 6 single-channel PCBs.

Is it 6 single-channel Aleph X, v.1.0 PCBs for USD30? Do you sell 1 or 2 stereo set and shipping to Malaysia?
Dougie085
I would be interested in all of the aleph boards. Do they include PSU boards? Not sure if that was part of the GB.
sprintsun
Dougie085, Pls don't take all. Leave a stereo set for me.
Dougie085
Well then I'd probably just be interested in the 2 sets (4 channels) I guess although not sure what I'd do for the other 2 channels. Do you have pics of these boards? Are they the ones from the GB? I may be interested in the T amp as well. Is it the sonic t amp from PE?
sprintsun
I'll take 1 stereo set and you take 2 stereo set.

I guess it's from http://www.penguinlovers.net/audio/alephx_proj.html

Not sure though

Dougie085
Yeah that looks like the ones in the GB thread.
sprintsun
I hope it's that one and c10h12n2 is willing to split the pcbs to 2 person's buy.

Just ordered some aleph 5 boards last night and then saw these and was like hey what the heck. Of course not sure which I'll build first. The Aleph 5 looks much less complicated. So may build that one first. Do you know about how much it costs to populate the AX board?

Also what kind of power output can you get with the standard 4 transistors? Do you have the extension boards?
sprintsun
I am building aleph 4, and I want to finish it before trying the difficult X amp next year.

Any advice from experts?

Thanks.

First of all, sorry to c10h12n2 for jumping your thread.

Sprintsun, I have a pair of AlephX 1.0 version boards that I couldnt find time to build after getting them from another DIYer. I just had too many other priorities on hand and had to halt the build.

If you're interested (since we're geographically closer) you can drop me a line to discuss the boards.

c10h12n2, if you feel strongly against me hijacking your thread, I will withdraw my offer to spiritsun. Apologies, it is your thread :)

Regards

No problems at all - local transactions would seem better for everyone.

Cheers-

I just looked at http://www.penguinlovers.net/audio/alephx_proj.html - yes, that's it. There are pictures there (that page looks like an excellent resource, by the way); I don't have any of the boards I'm selling, but I can borrow a camera and take some if desired.

PSU is separate and not included.
sprintsun
Either way, thanks, c10h12n2.

rchua77, I am interested. Is it the same as c10h12n2?
rchua77
Affirmative, they are the exact same boards. Would you contact me offline to discuss? I have enough parts to build the Aleph-X if you're interested too.
sprintsun
How Do I contact you?
c10h12n2
PCBs are gone, T-amp and AC adapter are still available.

Thank you-
Livin
I'm interested in the T-Amp... email me.
